Sword Fights on the Heights IV SFOTH IV Items & Gear
Swords, powerups, and map landmarks that decide every life on the Heights.
What this hub covers
In Sword Fights on the Heights IV, “items” means everything you pick up on the floating islands: the eight classic swords, healing and armor consumables, utility spheres, and the landmarks that hide them. There is no modern inventory shop loop for the core kit—you walk, portal, and duel for power.
This Items Hub (category players in the wiki structure, labeled Items in navigation) is your encyclopedia index. Child pages go deep; this page tells you where to click next.
Child pages
Swords encyclopedia
Full breakdown of Linked Sword, Venomshank, Ice Dagger, Darkheart, Illumina, Ghostwalker (levels 1–9), Firebrand, and Windforce—damage tables, abilities, and pedestal context. Start here if you need numbers.
Powerups
Medkit, Battle Armor (200 HP), Touchstone → Locus, Shadow Sphere, Shield Sphere, historical Jet Boots (removed ~2016), plus healing pads and trampolines. These tools change sword matchups as much as the blades themselves.
Map guide
Ring of Fire, colored Locus portals, Abyss, Illumina island, Darkheart mountain, Windforce tower, Ice path, Firebrand tightrope, Ghostwalker bridge, and common hazards. Read this before blaming “random deaths” on bad luck.
Classic vs Reforged
Side-by-side comparison of Shedletsky place 47324 versus the community remake (Reforged): classic eight swords versus expanded remake blades, Jet Boots removed on classic but restored in Reforged, Bloxy Cola / Slateskin context, Discord tournaments, and when to play which experience.
How items fit the rest of the wiki
- Rankings and “what to grab first” live on the Tier List Hub and Swords tier list.
- Counterplay lives on Matchups.
- Movement tech and hotbar habits live on Combat tips.
- Pedestal routes live on Sword locations.
- Confused by remake thumbnails? Read Classic vs Reforged before trusting Jet Boots or Cola guides on classic.
- Beginners should still open Getting Started once, then return here for reference tables.
Core loop in one paragraph
Spawn with a Linked Sword, secure Battle Armor and a Medkit when possible, Touchstone into the Locus saferoom under the Ring of Fire, take a colored portal toward the sword you want, and fight with Illumina as the default carry until a matchup demands Firebrand, Windforce, Venomshank, Darkheart, or Ghostwalker. Fall voids, rotating plates, and portal campers punish greed—items are only useful if you live long enough to swing them.
Event note
During The Hunt: Roblox 20, you may only need four sword pickups for the badge path. That is a progress counter, not a reason to ignore powerups. Medkits and Armor still decide whether you keep those swords long enough to finish. See Hunt event notes and the Hunt guides under Guides.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Why is this section called Items if the folder is players?
The wiki category key is players, but the UI label is Items—swords, powerups, and map gear for SFOTH IV rather than a character roster.
Do I need every sword every life?
No. Most strong lives revolve around Illumina plus one situational swap, Armor, Medkit, and Touchstone. Collect more when the server and map allow.
Where do Jet Boots fit?
They are historical. Jet Boots were a major mobility powerup and were removed around 2016; they no longer spawn in the classic experience.
Is the Locus safe forever?
The Locus saferoom protects you inside, but portals spit you into contested areas. Bring Shield Sphere habits and expect campers on exit.
Where should new players go first?
Read Getting Started, then Sword locations, then this hub’s Swords and Map pages. Use the tier list once you recognize each blade on sight.
